I wanted to give you a quick update on how I am moving along with A Lesson Learned: The Lake in the Middle of the Forest!
Right now, I am in the process of re-coloring illustrations that I already had placed in the story, and transferring those illustrations from the ebook version to the paperback. Whew!!! Yeah. It can be tedious, but I love it.
The scene above, in both the ebook and paperback versions, is Allison giving her sister advice about brown carrots. You see, Allison’s mom, each day, expects Allison to tell her younger sister, Maggie, something she [Allison] learned from the day before. Her mother calls it, “A Lesson Learned.” Ah Ha! Allison finds it totally annoying. She doesn’t see the point, and feels that she will never have anything really important to share with her sister.
