Caitlin’s Corner – Sleepover

Hello everybody! Welcome back to my corner!  This time I am going to talk about how to plan the best sleepover/slumber party for your kids!
Step One:  Always have AWESOME snacks.  Snacks like pizza, Sour Patch Kids, M&M’s, and jellybeans are a great start.
Step Two:  Always have COOL MOVIES to watch!  Tangled, Brave, Monster House,  and Aladdin are great movies.
Step Three:  Tell scary STORIES (but not too scary because you don’t want anyone having any nightmares).
Step Four:  Plan for fun GAMES to play like pillow fights, checkers, and dress-up.
Step Five:  Allow your kids to STAY UP AS LONG AS THEY WANT.  This is very important!
Kids if you’re reading this too, I know that you like these ideas because I am a kid too and I know what we like.  And if we get a little LOUD, please don’t mind because sometimes we just have to get it all out.  Last but not least, if you are in charge of picking up the kids for the sleepover, don’t leave anyone behind.  Make sure that you pick up everyone invited.  Well I hope this stuff was helpful. See you next time in my corner!

Caitlin’s Corner

Hi! My name is Caitlin. I hope you enjoy my corner! I was going to talk to you today about virtual worlds but I changed my mind.  I want to talk about bullying.  You should always talk to your child about their day at school because sometimes kids hide stuff from there parents like being bullied.  One of the most important rules is to make sure that your child doesn’t feel sad and is not being hurt by anyone.  To the bullies…  Please stop what you are doing because not only are you hurting other kids but you are also hurting yourself.
So parents please do your best to protect your children, and kids please don’t allow bullies to harm you.  Tell your parents right away.
