So, as you know, I am the “Organic Author,” and I write and illustrate all of my stories from within, unadulterated.  I allow them to flow out of me naturally without any input from, or thought about, anyone or anything.

Well, this wasn’t the case when I first began publishing my works.   I was more focused on the “rules of publishing,” and “what others would think,” than on my stories.  The results were stories that I loved, transformed into stories that I myself did not want to read.

After my seventh publication, I couldn’t take it any longer.  My next stories were written and illustrated exactly how I felt they should be, and I became a completely happy author.  Then I decided, “You know what?  I’m going to remove my first seven publications from the market, and start over from scratch!”  And I did just that.

It’s been a few years since I made that decision, and all except one title is back…  A Lesson Learned, The Lake in the Middle of the Forest.  Poor A Lesson Learned.  I have been trying to bring her back for some time, but I kept stopping it to create other stories.  Well, not this time.  A Lesson Learned will be, God willing, the only story that I work on until it is completely finished.  I can’t wait for it to come back!  It really is a great story, and the twist…

Well I will keep you all posted with updates and perhaps excerpts from the title.  I am so glad that I illustrate better now as well.  It makes the story that much better.

Happy Organic Creating!

Best.
